Revenue Management Manager
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Revenue Management expert at Greater Anglia. This role is at the heart of driving revenue within Greater Anglia's commercial team, responsible for around £50million per year of advanced train bookings.
Role and Accountability
You will have responsibility for optimising passenger journeys and maximising revenue, ensuring that booking trends are closely monitored to make effective interventions. You will need strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and familiarity with yield management systems to effectively optimize operations. Expertise in rail reservation and timetable demand forecasting systems, or similar, an advantage.

Experience, Knowledge And Qualifications Required

You will have demonstrable experience within a Revenue management type role, ideally within a rail or transport setting.
You will be able to work in a proactive manner, always seeking opportunities for continual improvements and able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders to meet challenging revenue and other KPI targets.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revenue Management professional with experience of the commercial world to join our well-loved business.  You will understand Revenue Management concepts and principles and have experience using a Revenue Management system to help support pricing decisions. You will also love Commercial Analysis and identifying any areas of revenue opportunity or weakness to the wider Commercial team.

This role is permanent and full time with some flexible home working offered if required. Location is at our Support Centre in Moira, Derbyshire in the heart of the National Forest. You will also be required to visit some of our locations each year to present on performance at the Location Team Insights Meetings.

You will be highly numerate, have good attention to detail and be able to analyse situations and events logically. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

Skills and experience

You will have solid experience of:

•             Sales and marketing within a commercial, results oriented culture

•             Responsibility for Revenue Management & Pricing and achieving Budget targets

•             Strong excel & analysis skills

•             Presenting on performance

•             Inventory & Revenue Management systems

•             Producing weekly Trading Meeting reports and commentary

•             Reviewing and reporting on Forest Holidays performance; identifying and highlighting any areas of opportunity or weakness to the wider Commercial team
